Acts 2:32 This Jesus God raised up, and of that all of us are witnesses.
As Christians, we have experienced the best service of all time—Christ offers himself, his very life, for the sake of the whole world. Then God responds to Jesus’ heinous execution by raising him from the dead. Our connection to God through Christ means that we are all witnesses to that same resurrection.
Why then aren’t we sharing this exceptional service of Christ with everyone we know (and those we don’t)? Referring someone to Jesus might sound too evangelical to some, but it also feels right and true to me. The disciples in Acts do this over and over—and their witness is why we are here! We are witnesses to a God who destroys the power of death and invites us to see the world through the lens of grace and hope. The least we can do is tell others about it.
MOVING FORWARD: Instead of raving about a new restaurant on social media, invite friends to visit your church and experience exceptional service.
