Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
I remember when I needed a job desperately. My son was in college, and my part-time position wasn’t enough to pay all the bills. While many emails and phone calls were left unanswered, there were some sympathetic replies. A friend of a friend messaged a principal who did not know me. This email from someone who only knew me through a mutual friend gave me a glowing reference. I was hired soon after.
