Luke 17:17 Then Jesus asked, “Were not ten made clean? But the other nine, where are they?”

As a digital evangelist, I am often asked how to share the good news of Jesus on social media. I encourage people to share what God has done for them through a picture, a video, or a story. This surprises a lot of people—many of us think sharing daily moments of gratitude is not evangelism.

Sometimes we think sharing our joy over kids wearing matching socks without a fight, traveling to visit a sick loved one, or offering comforting words when we grieve is not sharing God’s love. Others maintain we must have advanced theological degrees or write biblical exegeses to share our faith.

When we practice gratitude, we encourage others to share their own stories of thanksgiving. In this world of instant public information, sharing our gratitude publicly is an act of love for God and neighbor. Our brothers and sisters can see our faith, hope and love through simple messages of gratitude.

MOVING FORWARD: How will you share the good news of Jesus on social media today? Tag us with #ForwardDaybyDay!
