Romans 12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sister, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
Our truest acts of worship are not about our attire or posture or location. They are the expressions of our hearts for the overwhelming love and gratitude that we have for the goodness God has shown us. Worship is the presentation of our deepest, fullest selves to God as sacrifices to be placed on the altar of God’s heart.
Worship is not merely the holy acts we undertake but all the ways we lift Christ up and live Christ out in the world. This is worship that is holy and acceptable to God.
