Romans 16:16 Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.
Paul’s salutation to his family of faith is so dear and kind, so earnest in the way he wants everyone to know and love everyone else—women, men, children, old people. This family Paul loves is big and broad and beautiful. He reminds us that even when we don’t all know each other as well as we would like, we can come to the table and celebrate the One who knows each of us and makes us one—with love.
MOVING FORWARD: Write a note or email to a relative you’ve been missing.
Today the Church remembers William Reed Huntington, Priest, 1909.
